About Us
Bull Shanagan Retired Machinist | Advocate for CNC Education | Community Builder
In the vast expanse of the frontier, where steel meets sky, Bull Shanagan’s journey continues to evolve like a tale spun around a campfire.
Hanging up his tools didn’t mean hanging up his hat; Bull’s got a new mission on the horizon.
With the same dedication that once forged metal, Bull Shanagan now turns his attention towards the heart of communities. He’s on a quest to champion CNC education, to spread the gospel of precision and possibility to eager learners young and old. He knows that knowledge is the kind of gold that never loses its shine.
But Bull Shanagan isn’t content with simply preaching from a pulpit. No sir, he’s out there, boots on the ground, bridging the gap between folks hungry for learning and the resources they need. He’s forging connections, bringing together mentors and mentees, creating a network that’s as strong as a blacksmith’s anvil.
This ain’t just about education, though. It’s about building a community that stands tall, like a mountain range against the horizon. Bull Shanagan believes that when people come together, they can move mountains, they can change lives.
So as the sun sets on one chapter, Bull Shanagan gallops toward a new horizon. He’s not just making things; he’s making futures, one lesson, one connection at a time. With a heart as big as the frontier and a spirit as wild as the wind, Bull Shanagan is leaving a legacy that will echo through the ages.

VCarve was kicking my ass for about a year. Couldn't figure it out to save my life. Was even more frustrated trying to learn via YouTube University with no luck. Reached out to Bull to take advantage of classes he offered and the course of instruction was second to none. Very knowledgeable. A great and patient educator! Highly recommended!

when I switched from X Carve to Vcarve I had no idea how to run the new software,.... a few classes online later and Bull had me doing exactly what my goal was....

So yeah, I took Bull Shanagan classes and they are everything that everyone says they are, he is definitely a wealth of knowledge and has a gift for teaching. But before I ever took any of his classes, before I was ever even thinking about taking any of his classes, he spent several hours with me on video chats helping me decide on which software to upgrade to while I was still using Easel. After I settled on Vcarve Pro he nonce again spent alot of his time going over the program setup and helping me to make sure that I was going to start off on the right foot and have a good basic understanding of the software. Several times when I have been stumped on something on one of my projects he has made the time to help me out or walk me through things to get the results that I was looking for. So even though I did take Bull's classes and wholeheartedly endorse him as an educator I also suggest that if you have not taken the time to get to know him you really should! He is a great guy and fun to just hang out with virtually in all of the chats that he hosts and you will walk away not only with newfound knowledge, but also with a great friend and mentor.

I hired Bull to help me get over the hump with 3d modeling in Aspire. Bull confidently proposed a plan to accomplish this. During our first few classes it was evident by both of us that I needed a lot of work. Bull got me back on course and got me up to speed so I could accomplish my modeling proficiency goal. The amount of information the man has is overwhelming. The depth of his instruction appears bottomless. I am happy with my investment into hiring Bull Shanagan. I wish him luck in all his endeavors. I will more than likely hire him for more instruction later down the road when the learning on my own plateaus.
